Serving Our Community Since 2012

Honeybees, Yellowjackets, Carpenter Bees, Wasps, Hornets and structural or wood destroying organisms— we’ve got you covered! With over 13 years in business, we’ve successfully resolved thousands of insect colony issues. With our decades of combined experience, we seldom need you to request our re-treat warranty guarantee.

We can rescue and relocate your unwanted honeybees. In most cases, we provide a one-year guarantee against honeybees rebuilding a colony in the same location. A certificate of liability insurance is included with your written estimate.

We perform three major categories of Honeybee removals:

  • Structural Colony Removal,
  • Swarm Removal,
  • Tree Colony Removal. (Must meet safety requirements.)

Flying stinging pests like Yellowjackets, Carpenter bees, Wasps, and Hornets are exterminated using insecticides with low mammalian toxicity. In most cases, you pay only once, and we'll work with you for up to about 30 days until your pests are under control. We can provide you with details of our process at treatment time. Let's look at the insect identification page together and we will schedule your work.

We take our work seriously. Some insect colonies can be aggressive, chase us and sting multiple times! Ultra-aggressive Yellowjackets can be found in various locations, including the ground, around brush piles, in walls, and along rooflines. Africanized honeybees have been discovered in Kansas City, Missouri, and have even been found to overwinter in the cold climate Colorado.

 Why pay KC Bee Removal?

Saving honeybees and exterminating insect pests is our passion. We work to preserve the integrity of your structure or landscaping while solving your pest problem. Our owner, Jeffrey, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas and had over twenty years of experience in Information Technology before launching KC Bee Removal. He manages effective methods for solving insect problems that he and his partners have developed over the years.

Jeffrey has performed hundreds of honeybee and swarm removals and with his team has handled thousands of pest exterminations. Our effective and practical pest control methods, developed over years of experience, will benefit you. We’ve mastered the art of successful pest control, completing thousands of successful jobs. We will apply our proven work patterns to your specific issue.

Jeffrey has experience in various roofing and wall removals, including shingled roofs, exterior and interior walls, ceilings, floors, soffits, patio ceilings, and more. He has removed honeybees from homes of differing price ranges, from basic rentals to multi-million dollar homes, as well as apartments, restaurants, churches, hotels, and other establishments.

Jeffrey, having co-owned a building contracting company and worked in the Apartment Management Industry during his early years, brings a unique blend of management and hands-on construction expertise to his team. This combination ensures that your job is completed to the highest standards.

Regrettably, we have encountered instances where someone else's pest control efforts have not yielded the desired results. For instance, sealing insects into structures using foam or caulk has proven ineffective against established colonies. Insects possess remarkable abilities to locate entry points that are as narrow as 1/8 inch in diameter. We are committed to providing you with a complete solution.

Scheduling

Service is prioritized based on urgency, such as your roofers’ scheduled visit next week. We strongly advise relocating honeybee swarms promptly to prevent them from settling in your home, business, or landscaping. Exterminations are performed under the supervision of a licensed and insured pest control professional.

Quotes

We charge reasonable prices for exterminations or honeybee removals. Ideally, we prefer to complete any structural repair work at the time of any honeybee removal. We offer additional contracting services for complex repairs, such as stucco, carpet stretching, and brick or stone repair. Our work is completed promptly and adheres to professional standards.
